    Testimonials

“Kim has been a tremendous resource for our family. She reviewed our case and helped us take the steps to ensure that the appropriate services were put in place based on evaluations done inside and outside of the district. She knows and understands all aspects of Massachusetts Special Education Law and has the resources in place to leave no stone unturned when advocating for a child.” - Mom of a child with developmental delays in the Andover School District

"Kim got us results. Beyond knowing how to correspond with administration so they will take action, Kim has intimate knowledge of specific services and therapies that children are entitled to and was willing to push the boundaries to ask Special Education to accommodate our child." - Parents of a child on the autism spectrum currently in the Somerville School District.

"When I contacted Kimberly Rego, she immediately helped to refocus on true issues, based on facts, laws and regulations which exist to protect the special needs of children. She helped to advocate for additional services for my daughter and her understanding of Applied Behavioral Analysis and it's providers was invaluable. My daughter and I are very thankful for all her efforts." - Mother to a teen with severe Anxiety and ADHD in the Arlington School District

"We wish we had hired Kimberly sooner! Dealing with the public school system as parents and trying to negotiate Special Ed services for our child has been a complex and overwhelming endeavor. Kimberly is extremely knowledgeable especially when it comes to MA Special Education Law and with her assistance and guidance we have finally received much needed services for our son. She has a concrete vision of how to move us forward as well as an in depth understanding of best practice interventions for my son’s sensory integration, ADHD and social pragmatic issues." - Parents of a child with Sensory Processing, Social Pragmatic and Attention Issues.

  • "Discipline is helping a child solve a problem. Punishment is making a child suffer for a problem. To raise problem solvers, focus on solutions not retribution." L.R. Knost

  • I was trained as a parent advocate at the Federation for Children with Special Needs, followed by a fellowship at Massachusetts Advocates for Children. I am a mother of two school age children, one on the autism spectrum, and my wish is to empower and instruct people to make use of the law to acquire appropriate services and supports for their children as they progress through their academic careers and lives.
